Born in 1985 in Bydgoszcz (Poland), she graduated with honors from the Academy of Music in Cracow in the Singing and Acting Department under the supervision of dr Katarzyna Oleś-Blacha.

In the years 2001 – 2007 she collaborated with the choir of Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz. Even before beginning her vocal studies, in 2006 she made her debut with the part of The First Boy in The Magic Flute by W. A. Mozart – a Polish-Dutch co-production and the tournée in Holland, Belgium and Germany. In the same year she also performed the part of Genius in The Philosopher’s Stone by W. A. Mozart during the Mozart Festival in Salzburg.

She was one of the people, who gave the idea of organizing a concert-on-stage performance of Dido and Aeneas by H. Purcell directed by Avishay Hadari in Łaźnia Nowa Theater during the Night of the Theaters in 2010 in Kraków, in which she performed the part of Dido. In April 2011 she performed the solo parts (Fairy, Juno) in The Fairy Queen by H. Purcell, conducted by P. Esswood.

In 2009 she started her cooperation with the Cracow Opera with the part of Kate Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly by G. Puccini. Then, in 2010, she performed the parts of Mercedes in Carmen by G. Bizet, Cenerentola in the ballet performance Cinderella with the music by G. Rossini, Jadwiga in The Haunted Manor by S. Moniuszko and in 2011 she performed as Suzuki in Madama Butterfly by G. Puccini. In September 2012 she was offered a permanent contract with the Cracow Opera. In her repertoire there are such parts as: Orfeo in Orphée et Eurydice by Gluck, Echo in Ariadne auf Naxos by R. Strauss, Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro, Dorabella in Cosi fan Tutte and the 2nd Lady in Die Zauberflöte by Mozarta, Dido in Dido and Aeneas by Purcell, Zofia in Halka by Moniuszko, Ines in Il Trovatore by Verdi, Giannetta in L’elisir d’amore by Donizetti.

In May 2011 she was awarded an honor in the International Vocal Competition “Iuventus Canti 2011” in Slovakia. In January 2013, she made a recording of two acts of Le nozze di Figaro as Cherubino with the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice. During her vocal career she has worked with such exquisite conductors as T. Kozłowski, P. Wajrak, D. Vermeulen, D. Binetti, T. Tokarczyk, S. Perłowski, P. Sułkowski and numerous directors: W. Zawodziński, J. Niesobska, L. Adamik, W. Graniczewski, M. Remus, E. Buchmann.

Her musical interests are not only connected with the operatic literature. In her repertoire there are also pieces of the baroque and renaissance music as well as various songs. She is constantly developing her vocal mastery by participating in many masterclasses led by Prof. Ryszard Karczykowski, Prof. Eva Blahova, Paul Esswood, Małgorzata Walewska and Semen Szkurhan.

 

Bartek RybakBartek Rybak

was born in Lowicz, Poland, in 1976. He graduated from the Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw with distinction in 2000 and from the Amsterdam Conservatory in 2002.

He studied conducting with Prof. Szymon Kawalla and piano with Prof. Maria Stojek and Prof. Jan Marisse Huizing. During this time he won the 1st prize at the Chopin Competition for Young Pianists in Sochaczew.

In 1998 he was awarded the 3rd prize at the Penderecki Contemporary Music Competition in Krakow and at the Lantier Competition of Interpretation, Paris in 1999.
Bartek Rybak has given many concerts in Poland as a soloist and a chamber musician. He has also performed recitals in Holland, France, Switzerland, Germany, England, Belgium, Kuwait, Egypt and Japan

Bartek Rybak is a lecturer in the music department of the College of Basic Education - PAAET in Kuwait

FAISAL G. AL-BAHAIRI

is a young talented Kuwaiti pianist studying piano in Kuwait (at Kuwait Music Academy among others) and Poland. He won Grand Prix - First Prize at the 1st Gulf International Chopin Competition - Kuwait, 2010 presented by H.E. Sheikh Nasser Al-Sabah and Special Prize of Minister of Culture of the Republic of Poland, Bogdan Zdrojewski.
