KIM, AE RAN – young, very talented Korean
soprano
graduated very successfully Kye Myung F. Chopin
University of Music in Dae-gu, Korea (2006) and
Post-graduate studies at Frederic Chopin
University of Music in Warsaw, Poland (2011)
under renowned Professors Krystyna
Szostek-Radkowa and Ewa Izykowska.
She was invited to participate at Master Courses
at Polish National Opera House under Paola Larin
and James David Broc (2010).
KIM, AE RAN was awarded on some prestigious
vocal competitions and festivals as Int’l Music
Festival ‘Kostrinella’, The Easter Music
Festival, Int’l Competition Wroclaw-Duszniki
(2010), Viva Mozart at Chopin Academy, 150th
Anniversary of Ignace Paderewski Fest. at The
Great Assembly Hall of the Royal Castle ,
Warsaw.
She also performed on many recitals, concerts,
Opera presentations (since classical as Mimi,
‘Puccini’s ‘La Boheme’ at Warsaw till Modern
Korean Opera ‘TE-HYUNG’ among others). She
appeared on TV’s Programs.

SON SU YEON - pianist
was born in Busan, South Korea (1984). She began
her piano when she was 6 years old. Her musical
talent has received support from her teacher
Deborah Lee.
She entered Keimyung-F.Chopin University, Daegu,
and continued her studies at the University of
Music of Fryderyk Chopin in Warsaw since 2006,
with prof. Andzej Dutkiewicz, Janusz Grobelny
and chamber music under prof. Barbara Halska.
She got the scholarship from im. Dongsan
research foundation(2007, 2008).
SON, SU YEON debuted with the first solo recital
when she was 16 years old. She got a prize of
Daegu metropolitan office of education
competition and performed with orchestra ‘Daegu
Strings’. She participated in Schlern
International Music Festival & Summer Academy
(2005), International Music Interpretation
Course in Nowy Sacz (2007, 2008). International
festival of contemporary music ‘Warsaw Autumn’
(2007) and participated in summer piano
workshops 'Play Chopin’ (2009, Warsaw).
She got a special prize in Chopin competition
for foreign pianist (Antonin, 2008). In 2009 she
played a recital at the Chopin center in
Szafarnia. Also she participated in the Concert
–Project ‘The Longest Birthday Chopin’ in Warsaw
(2010).
SON SU YEON took master classes with Dang Thai
Son and Peep Lassmann, Tomas Ungar. Had many
concerts as soloist, in piano duo and as a
chamber musician,
Currently she is study on Artistic Training
course as solo pianist with prof. Andzej
Dutkiewicz and also postgraduate study on vocal
coaching with prof. Anna Marchwinska in UMFC.
